Celebrating International Women's Day 2020

To mark International Women’s Day 2020, we brought together two inspirational women from the cable and telecommunications industry: WICT UK President, Julie Agnew, Executive Director of Delivery and Construction at Virgin Media, and Miranda Curtis, Liberty Global board director and the most successful woman in European cable history.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, Miranda served as executive officer of Liberty Global’s predecessor, LGI, President of Liberty Media International and President of Liberty Global Japan. In an interview at MIranda’s London flat last week, Julie began by asking Miranda about her time in Japan, and how she dealt with the challenge of being a female in such a predominantly male industry.
