Mentor connect

A core part of our vision at WICT UK & IRELAND is to support the career advancement of women working within the telecoms, media and technology industries.

Our members benefit from being able to access Mentor Connect, our programme which offers developmental opportunities for both mentors and mentees, as well as creating opportunities for corporate sponsors to leverage the WICT UK programme to align with their own people development programmes.

The specific benefits of being mentored can include:

how it works

Any WICT member is eligible to participate in Mentor Connect. Mentees are matched with a potential mentor based upon developmental needs, career aspirations, mentor skills and sector expertise.

Our offering includes:

  • Facilitated matching to the right mentor / mentee

  • Onboarding sessions to introduce the program

  • Community events for shared learning

  • Hosted events with key speakers & learning topics

  • Ongoing support from the Mentor Connect team
